Noninvasive Vascular Laboratory at Baptist Hospital East Our Vascular Surgeons are the Medical Directors of the Noninvasive Vascular Laboratory at Baptist Hospital East. Dr Mitchell founded the laboratory in 1979. The lab has grown since that time with the progressive addition of personnel, new space and new technology. Presently, diagnostic studies are performed with state of the art instrumentation. The technicians are all credentialed as Registered Vascular technicians by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers. The laboratory is accredited by Intersocietal Commission for the Accreditation of Vascular Laboratories. The Noninvasive Laboratory at Surgical Care Associates The Vascular surgeons also maintain a noninvasive lab for diagnosis in the SCA office. The nurses performing the exams have credentials as Registered Vascular Technicians from American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers.
